About the experience

Select one of our favourite sites, or request a session somewhere special to you, for a short private guided birding tour with one of our birding guides. This is the perfect chance to absorb some ornithological knowledge or gain new insights into your local birds. Our Mini-Trips are a popular activity for groups of friends and family to mark a special occasion, or just as a way to spend time in nature together. What's included: • Up to three hours with an expert guide at one site • Detailed eBird trip report with photographs • Use of our telescope Pricing for tours starting 7am-2pm: • 1-3 people: £100 • 4-7 people: £180 Pricing for tours starting 4am-8pm: • 1-3 people: £150 • 4-7 people: £240 Start time is either meet time or pick-up time if we are adding transport to your booking. Tours for larger groups can be arranged upon request. Note £10 discount available for weekday 7am-2pm bookings. This will be applied upon confirmation of your booking request. Under-18s join free with accompanying adults, vehicle space allowing (notify us via email or on the booking form). Binoculars are available to hire for the duration of the session at £2 each. The duration is three hours but sessions can be shorter if you like. Our Sussex Birding Mini-Trip is a meet-on-site tour but we are happy to arrange pick-up and drop-off at £1 per mile; please enquire if you would like to add this to the service.
