I couldn't resist a short trip into Hampshire to admire the adult Sabine's Gull that has been delighting crowds on the edge of Langstone Harbour for a few days.
This bird should really in the South Atlantic but is instead feeding over some pools off Southmoor Lane.
It had been fed plenty of sardines by visitors early in the morning so spent most of its time quietly digesting its breakfast, but it did perform a couple of nice fly-pasts.
There was also a Goosander, a Greenshank and a family of Dark-bellied Brent Geese on the pool.
