We were very excited to help out!Dartford Warbler was the first quest... And we quickly found two, an adult male and this more showy juvenile on the clifftops. Result!Next up... Bearded Reedling. These can be tricky, and for a while we thought we might not be lucky this time at Pett Level. Then this male popped out after we heard a few quiet calls! As a surprise, we stopped off at Newhaven on the way back to Brighton, where we knew there was still a baby Fulmar on the cliffs. We then found a second chick and had an incredible fly-past from an adult!Adult Fulmar gracing us with a fly-past at Newhaven.Finding these birds with such an enthusiastic young birder was one of the highlights of the year so far. Thanks for the company, Chester, Susanna, Caitlyn and Ivan!
